Persönliche Einführung

Hello! I'm Alessia and I'm currently 17, but I'll turn 18 soon! I live in Turin, Italy, so Italian is my motherlanguage, but I also speak fluent english (i have a certified B2 level): i studied it for years and I just came back from an Exchange Year in Texas. I also studied French for a while and I can understand and speak it at a beginner level, but I' definitey looking forward improving my abilities! I absolutely love kids and I spent the last 8 years growing up with my little cousin, basically raising her. In addition, I also have a lot of babysitting experiences with her classmates and with other families in my neighboorhood. Speaking about my free time I like reading, writing, cooking/baking and going to the gym, as I'm generally a really active person. But among all of these, my greatest passion is traveling! My exchange year taught me everything about how to be independent, to take care of myself, to adapt to different environment, and, last but not least, to love others cultures besides my own. These are the reasons why I don't have any expectations and I'm ready to settle in every family, even those that may be different from what I'm used to. I also can't wait to explore new places in the world and to learn different cultures! In an host family I am looking for a loving family environment characterized by dialogue and mutual respect. I truly want to become a part of it. I would take care of the kids, driving/walking them to school, helping them with their homework if necessary and and entertain them, but I would also be willing to do some chores around the house, helping your family as much as I can.
