Presentación personal

Dear Future Host Family, My name is Putri Sonya, and I am 24 years old from Indonesia. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair because I believe it is a wonderful way to experience a new culture, create meaningful memories, and become part of a family in another country. Joining the Au Pair program is also the first step toward my long-term goal of pursuing an Ausbildung in Germany, so I am fully committed to making this experience meaningful and successful. One of the reasons I believe I am a good candidate is because I have plenty of experience taking care of children of different ages, from newborn babies to toddlers and older children. When I was in high school, I helped take care of my aunt's newborn baby while continuing my studies. My daily responsibilities included bathing the baby, preparing meals, feeding, helping with nap time, changing diapers, and playing together. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to give children love and attention. currently, I also spend my weekends taking care of my nephew. Every moment with him reminds me how much I genuinely enjoy being around children. I truly love children because spending time with them brings me happiness and peace. For me, playing, talking, and learning together with children is something that feels very natural. Their curiosity, honesty, and joyful energy always brighten my day, and I believe children can feel when someone genuinely cares for them. People often describe me as friendly and easy to get along with. I am an extrovert, so I enjoy warm conversations and creating a positive atmosphere with the people around me. At the same time, I am also a sensitive and caring person. I can easily cry while watching emotional movies, and once when my older sister accidentally cut his hand while cooking, I cried while helping treat his wound, even though he kept telling me he was completely fine. I think this simply reflects how deeply I care about the people I love. I come from a big family with two older sisters, one older brother, and two younger sisters. I am especially proud that I have been helping my youngest sister continue her education through senior high school. Since junior high school, I have lived away from my parents. Later, I moved to a bigger city to work while supporting my younger sister's education. Living far from my family has taught me independence, responsibility, compassion, and how to care for others even when we are separated by distance. These experiences have also helped me become adaptable and open to new environments, which is one of the reasons I am excited to experience life with a host family. In my free time, I enjoy fishing on weekends, reading novels, traveling, playing the guitar, and singing. Music is an important part of my life, and I actively serve as a singer in my church. Through church, I have learned teamwork, commitment, and the importance of serving others with sincerity. Currently, I am learning German independently because I want to prepare myself as well as possible for my future. I know language learning requires consistency, and I am committed to improving every day. I also enjoy keeping my surroundings clean and organized. I love cooking Indonesian food and would be happy to share my culture through meals with your family. Besides childcare, I am always willing to help with light household chores and daily family routines. I have carefully prepared myself by completing the necessary documents, learning the basic knowledge needed to become an Au Pair, and strengthening myself mentally for this journey. More than anything, I hope to become not only your Au Pair but also someone your family can trust, rely on, and welcome as a member of your home. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my letter. I sincerely hope we will have the opportunity to get to know each other. I look forward to sharing wonderful moments with your family, caring for your children with love and responsibility, and creating unforgettable memories together. Warm regards, Putri Sonya
