We are a close-knit and happy family. We live in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, a town 20 minutes by train from the center of Barcelona, in a large house with a spacious garden right next to the train station. IMPORTANT: We are looking for a French au pair with a good level of English, as the children will initially speak to her in English, and who would enjoy teaching French to our children. We want the au pair to be kind to the children and take the initiative to suggest activities and resolve any problems that may arise, and who can, or at least try to, restore a positive atmosphere when they argue. This isn't always easy; we are their parents, and we know that.
The children attend school from 9:00 to 17:00, but the plan is for the au pair to pick them up at 13:00, take them home for lunch, and then take them back to school at 15:00. Our idea is that, in addition to this 13:00 to 15:00 schedule, the au pair will also look after them at specific times during the week. In no case will the time she dedicates to them exceed 25 hours per week. It's very important to us that they learn French, and, of course, that they feel comfortable with the person caring for them. We would also like the au pair to feel comfortable in our family and will do everything we can to make that happen. By the way, although we have a TV, it's only used to watch cartoons in English on weekends or occasionally a movie together in Spanish.
