Presentación personal

Hello! We’re very happy to introduce our family and share what life with us would be like. I’m a commercial manager in a construction company, and my wife Hannah is an equine vet. Our home is busy, friendly, and full of animals. We have a cheerful three-year-old son, Arlo, who is curious, energetic, and loves being outdoors. He enjoys helping in the garden and visiting the horses. We also have dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses, so this is a perfect home for someone who loves animals and countryside life. We’re expecting a new baby in June 2026, which is why we’re looking for an au pair to join us. We hope to welcome someone kind, responsible, and happy to become part of our family. Your help with childcare and light household tasks would mean a lot as we prepare for our new arrival. We live in Bridgnorth, a beautiful historic town with lovely walks and plenty to explore. The nearest train station is in Telford, about 30 minutes away, and we’re happy to provide a car for your independence. We’d love to speak with you and answer any questions!

El empleo para personal extranjero de trabajo doméstico

Being an au pair with our family is cool because it’s more than a childcare role — it’s a cultural adventure and a true connection. From day one, you’re not just an employee, you’re part of our everyday life. We love sharing our traditions, meals, and routines, and we’re just as excited to learn about yours. It’s a real exchange, not just a job. With us, you’ll build meaningful bonds with the kids. They see their au pair as a big sibling — someone to play with, learn from, and look up to. Watching them pick up words from another language or get excited about another country is incredibly special. You become part of those memories. We also believe in balance. You’ll have time to explore, meet friends, and experience life here while feeling supported at home. Open communication, respect, and kindness are important in our family, and we want you to feel comfortable and valued. Many families who host through programs like Cultural Care Au Pair stay connected for years — and that’s what we hope for too: a lasting friendship, shared experiences, and a year you’ll never forget. A typical day as an au pair in our family starts around 7am. We begin the morning by helping Arlo get dressed, have breakfast, and get ready for the day. On his nursery days, you would take him for around 8am, giving you time afterwards to relax, study, or enjoy some free time. If it’s not a nursery day, the day is usually spent at home or out exploring. Arlo loves being outdoors, so you might head to the yard to visit the horses and let him ride his pony, Lulu. There are also dogs to walk and chickens to feed, which Arlo enjoys helping with. We live in Bridgnorth, surrounded by beautiful countryside, so walks are a big part of daily life. Other days, you might take him to soft play, a local park, or even the zoo for an adventure. We’re happy for you to use the car if you’d like the independence to get out and about. Our days are active, varied, and full of fresh air — perfect for someone who enjoys children, animals, and countryside living. With everything we’ve shared about our family life, we’re looking for an au pair who will truly enjoy being part of it. First and foremost, we’d love someone kind, patient, and genuinely warm with young children. Arlo is energetic, curious, and happiest when he’s outdoors, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being active — whether that’s playing in the garden, exploring the countryside, visiting soft play, or helping him ride his pony, Lulu. Because we have dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses, it’s important that you’re comfortable around animals and happy to be involved in small daily tasks like feeding the chickens or joining a dog walk. You don’t need to be an expert with horses, but confidence around animals would be a big plus. We’re also hoping for someone responsible and organised, especially with nursery drop-offs, simple routines, and light household support related to the children. A driving licence would be helpful as we’re happy to offer use of a car, though it’s optional. Most importantly, we want someone open-minded, communicative, and excited to become part of our family life — not just an employee, but a valued member of our home.
