Introduction personnelle
Hey, my name is Lilian, I'm 22 years old, and I'm from Kenya.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, a field that has deepened my appreciation for different cultures, communication, and building meaningful relationships with people from all walks of life.
I've always enjoyed spending time with children and being someone they can trust, encourage, and have fun with. Whether it's helping with homework, playing games, reading stories, doing creative activities, or simply listening to them after school, I love creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children can learn and be themselves. I understand that every child is unique, and I believe patience, kindness, and consistency are key to helping them grow with confidence.
Growing up in a close knit family has taught me the importance of responsibility, respect, and caring for others. These values have shaped who I am, and I would love to bring them into my role as an au pair. I see being an au pair as much more than helping with childcare. It's about becoming a trusted member of your family and building genuine connections.
Outside of work and academics, I enjoy painting, exploring nature, learning about different cultures, listening to music, and trying new experiences. I also enjoy staying organised, helping around the house, and I'm always happy to assist with light household tasks related to the children. I love animals as well, so if you have pets, I'd be delighted to help care for them too.
Living abroad has always been in my heart because I believe the best way to understand a culture is by living with the people who call it home. Becoming an au pair in Australia is an exciting opportunity for me to experience everyday Australian life, share my Kenyan culture, and create lifelong memories with a wonderful host family. Whether you are a family with young children, teenagers, or even a couple preparing to welcome a baby, I would be honoured to support your family in any way I can.
I hope to find a kind, welcoming family where we can learn from one another, share experiences, and create a home filled with trust, laughter, and mutual respect. I'm available to start from January 2027 and would love to stay for around 10–12 months. I'm open to living anywhere whether that's a vibrant city, a quiet suburb, or a rural community.
If you think we could be a great match, I'd love to get to know you better and answer any questions you may have.
