Introduction personnelle

Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is Leni, I am 18 years old and I have just graduated from high school. Before starting the next chapter of my life, I would love to gain some experience abroad, especially in Italy. I have always been fascinated by Italian culture and its way of life. At the moment, I only know the basics of Italian, but I am very motivated to improve my language skills before I start my au pair journey. I speak English fluently and had the wonderful opportunity to spend time in the United States as an exchange student, where I also lived with a host family. We became very close and I am still in touch with them today. I am a very creative and open-minded person. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and a little bit of guitar. I also love staying active. I go boxing, enjoy working out at the gym and like trying new activities. I am always excited to learn new things and am happy to join in with family activities. I already have some experience with children. When I was 15 years old, I volunteered in a kindergarten for two weeks as part of a school project. During that time, I gained my first experience working with young children and really enjoyed spending time with them. I would describe myself as friendly, responsible, caring, and enthusiastic. I am looking forward to becoming part of a welcoming family, supporting you with your children, and experiencing everyday life in Italy while sharing my own culture with you.
