Introduzione personale

I want to be an au pair because I've always found genuine joy in caring for children, and I see this as a chance to combine that with my passion for language and cultural exchange. Growing up in Kenya, I helped raise my younger siblings while my parents worked, and I also helped care for cousins who came to live with us after they were orphaned — experiences that taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make a child feel safe and supported. I already hold a Goethe-Zertifikat B2 in German and studied French in school, and I want to keep building both through real, daily immersion rather than just classroom study. Living with a host family feels like the most honest way to learn a language and a culture at the same time. I currently work remotely as a Virtual Assistant, which has taught me reliability and clear communication, and I'm ready to bring that same dependability into a host family's home — while learning everything I can from yours.
