Personal introduction

I want to join an Au Pair program because it combines two things that are important to me: working with children and experiencing a new culture. I enjoy supporting children as they learn, grow, and develop confidence, and I find it rewarding to contribute positively to their daily lives. Having helped care for my younger siblings and my niece, as well as volunteering as a tutor and mentor, I have developed a genuine interest in working with children. I enjoy creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where they can thrive. I am also excited about the opportunity to become part of a host family, learn about a different way of life, and build meaningful relationships through cultural exchange. At the same time, I look forward to sharing my Kenyan culture, values, and experiences with my future host family. I see the Au Pair program as an opportunity for personal growth, learning, and creating lasting connections.
