Personal introduction

My name is Keziah Joy B. Calaque, and I am a 26-year-old Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in Social Studies. I have one year of experience teaching junior and senior high school students, where I developed strong communication, leadership, classroom management, and childcare skills. I am also currently working as an au pair in the Netherlands, caring for children, supporting their daily routines, and helping create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. I want to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn, grow, and gain confidence. Being an au pair allows me to combine my passion for childcare with my interest in experiencing new cultures, improving my language skills, and becoming part of a host family's daily life. My experience as both a teacher and an au pair has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, flexibility, and kindness. I am excited to continue this journey by supporting a new family while creating meaningful memories together.
