Personal introduction
I want to become an au pair because I genuinely love being around children and I want to experience life in another country in a meaningful and personal way. For me, being an au pair is not simply about traveling abroad. It is about becoming part of a family, sharing everyday moments, learning from each other, and creating memories that I will carry with me for a lifetime.
I love the simple moments with children—playing together, reading bedtime stories, singing songs, helping them learn something new, preparing little meals, going outside, and being there when they need someone to listen or comfort them. I want to be someone they can feel safe with, laugh with, and trust.
I am also excited about discovering a new culture. I would love to learn about your traditions, food, language, celebrations, and way of life, while also sharing my Filipino culture, food, stories, and traditions with my future host family. I think cultural exchange is one of the most beautiful parts of becoming an au pair.
I also see this journey as an opportunity to grow. I want to become more independent, confident, responsible, and open-minded while meeting new people and experiencing things outside of my comfort zone.
Most of all, I hope to find a kind and welcoming host family where we can build a relationship based on trust, respect, communication, and genuine care. I want to arrive with an open heart, a positive attitude, and so much love to give. I hope that by the end of my au pair journey, I will not only have experienced a new country, but also gained a second family and memories that will always have a special place in my heart.
